Am an existing customer and was sent a flyer for a discount if I switched to a different kind of account. The discount offered would have saved me money overall, so I went to investigate. Turned out that my existing account could not be changed (why?) and I needed to open a new account. So tried this, and was lead into a very obscure / confusing sign up process, that ended up with me being charged *more* than the regular price for the alternative service (and the offered discount nowhere in sight). Sign up process seemed to follow the "sign up and then we'll tell you what we're going to charge" model... and so the high charge was an unwelcome surprise. I cancelled the account immediately, but had to write to customer services to ask for a refund... Only redeeming aspect was that customer service quickly refunded the money - but should never have been necessary. Recommendation? Avoid this service: there are other / better ones around.

Even after several e-mail to and from the service desk, I'm still not able to connect with the NewsDemon server due to some authentication problem. I've given up after several useless attempts to get some meaningful help from the service desk.
After using another newsgroup for a while. Lets call them pastraweb ive come back to newsdemon and the quality is miles better. No more failed files.
Def working alot better then my last server service(A****W**) everything seems to be having no issues now! and 50 connections instead of 20 is great!
best newsgroup around and the cost is so small
I've been using them for 6 months now on the 200GB plan and it's been a good experience. I haven't had a need to contact customer support. I can say they've been fast and reliable for me.
Offering unlimited accounts while actually denying access whenever a "download cap" has been reached is just sad.
Unlimited accounts aren't unlimited! Don't get caught!
